straw man...
while everyone on the east coast was at the FBM dirt comp, we were manning our booth at this years Boulder Fest right here in beautiful Rochester... the weekend turned out to be great. we saw a grip of good bands, including our favorite local prog/surf/thrash sensation featured below, TRIGLACTAGON
thanks to everyone that stopped bye, bought stuff, gave us beer, and made us laugh. special thanks to mike and sandy at THREAD for all of their help and support throughout the weekend.

The Pig Keepers Daughter?
This has to be one of the funniest pictures that i've ever seen. Paris Hilton, holding long time Hell on Earth supporters, Psyopus' cd... and i did the artwork for it. I've seen some funny shit in my life... but i can't imagine what she is doing with their cd. Imagine if Paris Hilton is a closet Psyopus fan. WTF!
In other Psyopus news... I'm pretty damn sure that they have a great review in this months Metal Maniacs for the above album "Our Puzzling Encounters Considered". They will also be on a short hiatus during this upcoming fall.
They may be seen doing the occasional weekend warrior stints regionally. If you are interested in booking them, contact dan@thunderdometouring.com
Otherwise, they will be fine tuning their chops and writing new material. They aim to be back on the road come the beginning of 2008.

Once they return from that short stint with Vital Remains, they are leaving again for another short tour with Success Will Write Apocalypse Across the Sky (SWAATTS), and 1931 from July 22nd to August 3rd. Come out and celebrate the life of Ben Pritchard at Lux on July 28th. There will be contests, raffles and good times. Money raised will go to Golisano Childrens Hospital in Ben's honor, so help support a good cause.
